[October 7] GLIM SPANKY – Walking On Fire [album]
Blues-inspired rock band GLIM SPANKY released their fifth album on October 7th! Titled Walking On Fire, the record contains contain 12 songs total, including the single “Story no saki ni,” and digital singles “Singin’ Now,” “Konna yofuke wa,” and “Tokyo wa moeteru.” “Circle Of Time” was included on a 2019 compilation album commemorating Osamu Tezuka’s Hi no Tori series. The other tracks are new songs.

Anime songstress ReoNa released her first album on October 7th! Titled unknown, the release contains 12 total songs, including hit single “ANIMA,” and songs “forget-me-not,” and “Kaibutsu no shi” which were also released as singles. The album version of “SWEET HURT,” ReoNa’s first single, is included on this disc. The songs on this album feature tie-ups to anime including SWORD ART ONLINE: Alicization – War of Underworld, ArkNights, and Happy Sugar Life.

[October 7] sokoninaru – Chouetsu [album]
Progressive/hard rock band sokoninaru released their debut album on October 7th! Titled Chouetsu (“Transcendence”), the album includes a new version of the single “complicated system” along with 8 original tracks.
Music videos to “complicated system” and the album’s lead song “Lament Moment” are available on Soko ni Naru’s official YouTube channel, and can be previewed below.

[October 14] LiSA – LEO-NiNE [album] and Homura [single]
LiSA released a new album last week! This is LiSA’s fifth original studio album, titled LEO-NiNE. It contains the hit singles “Gurenge,” “unlasting,” “ADAMAS,” and “Akai wana (who loves it?)”. In addition, the advance single “Aijou” which was released last month is included. The album includes 13 songs total.
LiSA released a new single on the same date titled Homura. The single contains 4 songs including the title track “Homura.”

[October 14] Wagakki Band – Tokyo Singing [album]
Wagakki Band released their new album on October 14th! TOKYO SINGING is the traditional/rock fusion band’s first album on the Universal Music label, after leaving Avex. The album contains 13 tracks total, including the songs “Ignite” (released on their mini album REACT) and the album’s lead song, “Singin’ for…”

[October 14] Tanaka Jacob – Osaki ni Douzo [album]
Folk/pop musician Tanaka Jacob released his second album on October 14th! Titled Osaki ni Douzo, this album contains 12 tracks total, including the songs “BIKE,” “LOVE SONG,” and “TIOVONEN.” Music videos to the three songs are available on YouTube. They are laid-back slow tempo pieces that are perfect for the passing summer.

[October 21] Kuhaku gokko – A little bit [album]
New rock/pop artist Kuhaku gokko is releasing their debut EP this month! A little bit is the first release from the unit formed by two vocaloid producers, DenpolP and HarryP, and vocalist Setsuko. The EP will contain 7 tracks total, including the 5 songs they have released on social media and streaming sites: “Natsu,” “Rirubii,” “Ame,” “Tabun ningen,” and “Pikaro.” The remaining 2 tracks are new songs.

[October 21] humbert humbert – Ai no Himitsu [album]
Folk duo humbert humbert is releasing their new album on October 21st! Ai no Himitsu is the pair’s 10th studio album. It will contain 12 songs total, which are all new studio recordings. Tie-up songs include “My Home Town,” used for the animated movie Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! Kurenai Densetsu and “Soredemo tomo ni aruite iku,” used for the game Princess Connect! Re:Dive.

[October 28] Half time Old – CRISP YELLOW [mini album]
Funk/pop/rock band Half time Old is releasing a mini album this month! Titled CRISP YELLOW, the release will contain 7 tracks total set for a release date of October 28th. The 4 member indie band released their previous mini album over a year ago, in September 2019.
